This is my way of redeeming myself for a horrible, terrible, no good crack drawing I was goaded into posting (but ya won't find it here, no sirree!).
Anyway, you're probably wondering why this looks so rushed. I'll tell why -- because it WAS rushed. Unfortunately, this is the second attempt at this comic, as my dog pooped on the original. No joke. MY DOG POOPED ON MY ARTWORK!
Luckily I had inked and was coloring a traced copy of the original pencil work. Because I wanted this done before the weekend, I've spent half the day re-inking and coloring it, sacrificing what were once actual backgrounds for plain colors (except the first panel, where it was absolutely necessary). I ended up cutting out the bloodstains on Leo that I had as well. I swear, I have to be the laziest artist ever to grace the internet.
SO! This little plot was basically spawned by this line from Nekotsuki's Underdark:
"I swear, one day hes gonna come home with a couple of swords sticking out of his shell and covered in blood, and hell tell us he cut himself shaving."
Now, I've never done a serious attempt at a comic before, so any comments and concrits would be most helpful!
Your style is almost reminiscent of the old toon which I heartily dig. hehehehe. I love the little tag on the sword!
"All hail shredder!"
Though I've never heard the expression 'hunt up' usually it's just 'hunt down'. hehehe.
The expressions are great and it looks great for being rushed. Oh yes! And I particularly like the *ninja vanish*
-- So the struck eagle, stretch'd upon the plain, No more through rolling clouds to soar again, View'd his own feather on the fatal dart, And wing'd the shaft that quiver'd in his heart.
I love it!!! Its so cute. I remember you telling me about doing this one (or planning to at any rate).
The *ninja vanish* is the best.
I can't believe Abbi pooped on the original!!! At least Sir Chirpy (hope thats how you spell it if not sorry) didn't get or there would have been nothing left of it!

House: "You're wearing that shirt for someone." Wilson: "The Health Department. They frown on topless oncology."
I think 'hunt up' is one of those things only Australian people say. We're all a bit topsy-turvey down here. Think of it as a cross between 'rustle up' and 'hunt down' ;D
And ... I thought you'd appreciate that tag, Wane! Think of it as my way of slipping in some good ole fashioned Foot Ninja Pride!
That's great, that's great! The expressions are wonderful and I totally love the "All Hail Shredder" banner-thingy on the sword and the Ninja Vanish! Great Comic, girl, I'm dying here!

XD Thank you! Nice to see you here, btw. I've been skulking around in dark corners at Ally's thread, so apologies for not officially saying hi to our newest regular.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
