WAIT!! Put down those torches and pitchforks for a sec! I am well aware that Donatello has fought aliens and freakish monsters in a multitude of dimensions and found some pretty crazy things in his time (and, yannow, IS a crazy thing) and that therefore the idea of mermaids wouldn't make his entire belief system crumble like a paper napkin in a rainstorm.

HOWEVER! Utterly Bewildered!Donnie is cute and fun to draw. And I drew him. So let's just say, for the sake of this pic, that Mermaid!Ally has temporarily enchanted him and made him all befuddled and stuff. YAY!

I tried inking! I hope I got the line weights thing right. As you may have noticed, each time I draw one of these I focus on something different or try something new with my technique. For Pi's it was light and shadows. For Sandy's, color. And now in Ally's, inking and line wights. So apologies for the flatness of the color! I'll try shading again soon, I promise! And I'll try it IN COLOR. Anyway the point is, everyone wins! You get pretty artz, I get in lots of practice, and the art nuts out there get something to rip apart to their heart's content.
